Yesterday was a big day in the world of Railroad Earth. Here is the official announcement from the band:

“We are extremely pleased to premiere “The Great Divide”, the first single from our new album to be released next year, ‘All For The Song produced by Anders Osborne, and celebrate with a Winter Tour that will take us from coast to coast in early 2020! This announcement is sure to wet the whistle of Railroad Earth fans around the world. A new single released, a new album announced, and Winter Tour 2020 on the horizon, including the band’s annual two-night romp at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club.

New Single – “The Great Divide” – Released Today

As mentioned above, “The Great Divide” is the first single from Railroad Earth’s upcoming album release, All For The Song. According to Jambase, the song is a tribute to the band’s late founding member Andy Goessling, who died of cancer in October 2018. “The Great Divide” showcases all of the band’s strengths, including alluring, uplifting melodies, soaring vocal harmonies and lyrical mastery. The tune was debuted live on Sunday, October 27, 2019 to close out their set at the band’s annual Hangtown Music Festival in Placerville, CA. All For The Song is set for a 2020 release, although no specific release date has been announced at this time.
