Clarksburg, MD (Sept 22-23, 2017)
The Hometown Get Down is an annual music festival hosted in Clarksburg, MD. In the past, they’ve hosted artists such as Cris Jacobs, Jah Works, Love Canon, Ron Holloway Band and more in their mission to benefit families in crisis. This year, however, the Get Down has landed its most ambitious lineup yet, and the DMV region is ready get down in kind. They told us that the 10th Annual Hometown Get Down would be a special one, and they sure delivered with their lineup announcement on June 4. The Get Down will be hosted on September 22-23, 2017, and you can see the full lineup below to get your engine revved up. Tickets are on sale July 1, 2017 at http://www.hometowngetdown.org/!
It’s also nice to know that we rage for a reason. The Hometown Get Down benefits The Bernie House, based in Silver Spring, MD. The mission of The Bernie House is to “provide a safe home without violence for families in crisis.” Domestic violence is unfortunately still a widespread problem in today’s world, and The Bernie House seeks to provide safety and comfort for those who are affected by it. It’s easy to see why they’ve chosen such a noble organization to benefit. Check out the lineup below, and get ready to party with a purpose.
